I’m Rachit Pokhrel, a full-stack developer from Nepal, currently living in Japan, where I study Japanese at ISI Language School in Osaka.
Most of my development work so far has been for real businesses in Nepal: an event decoration studio, a wedding and events company, and a study-abroad consultancy. For two of them the work went past the public website into the admin systems their teams use for inquiries, quotations, bookings and payments.
Since March 2025 I have also worked at Discovery Pathway Pvt. Ltd. in student counseling and documentation, now remotely from Japan. The job involves detailed documentation and working directly with students, and both carry over into how I gather requirements and document software.
I want to keep growing as a full-stack developer by building useful products with international teams and for businesses that need websites and web applications they can rely on.
06How I work
Start with how the business actually runs: what customers ask, what staff need to track, and which information has to be correct.
In practiceDiscovery Pathway: I reviewed the company’s source material and flagged inconsistent claims before anything was published.
Map the public journey and the internal workflow together, so a website inquiry becomes the start of a quotation, a booking and an invoice.
In practiceFloral Roots & Decor: booking form → admin bookings → quotations → invoices and payments.
Type the data, validate input on the client and the server, and enforce access rules in the database itself.
In practiceTimeless Ties: row-level security policies with a script that tests what every role can read and write.
Check every page, form and admin screen on phones as well as desktops, because staff use these systems away from a desk too.

Ship to production on the client’s own domain, set up SEO foundations, and keep a written record of what is done, what needs testing and what is blocking launch.
